A.J. was adopted into God’s family in 1988. He was blessed with his wife Lorie’s hand in marriage in 1994. God soon laid adoption on their heart and it came to fruition with their third child, Avery, born in India. He is active in Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews, NC, including leading a young married couples Bible study, many of whom have experienced the blessing of adoptive children. A.J. is an electrical engineer with Southeastern Consulting Engineers.
