Name: White Family Fund

Hello everyone –
We are the White’s. We have 3 kids total – all 3 being my biological and the younger 2 being my husband’s biological. The oldest is Jacen 11 followed by Amari 6 and baby boy Chase 1.

We are currently working with a lawyer in Columbia, South Carolina named Dennis Gerald for our domestic adoption/step-parent adoption.

Here’s our story

Jacen is the one who is involved in this domestic adoption. Back in 2012 I had Jacen in my early 20s as a single mom. My husband Brandon and I met after I had Jacen who at the time was 5 months old. I remember Brandon asking me can he take Jacen and I on a date? I responded sure but of course still nervous with me being a new mom and having another man around him. After our first date went well the rest was history. Brandon and I have been married since 2015 but been together since 2012. Jacen and Brandon have one of the best relationships that I’ve ever seen.

Here’s how we got to the adoption part of this story. Jacen came home one day and said Mom I want my name to be like the rest of my family. I informed Brandon of the conversation we had and it brought Brandon to tears. I think Brandon couldn’t believe that Jacen wanted to take on his name. I always prayed for a God fearing family man and God sent Brandon to Jacen and I. Brandon’s parents and family accepted Jacen from the beginning and we felt loved right then. We’re so excited to finally get this process started. Jacen has asked multiple times when we are going to get his name changed etc. I told him it’s a process and to continue to pray for an easy process to get this done.

In order to get this adoption and name changed done we would like to invite you all to pray and keep us encouraged. As I stated before we have already had a meeting with our lawyer and he broke down the cost to us..The cost is what’s stopping this from happening being that we have everyday responsibilities.

Secondly, we need everyone’s help with this financial burden that comes with this process of getting this adoption completed for him

Third, please help us grant our oldest son’s wish…..We’re really wanting to get this done for him and to put a bigger smile on his face. Just like the scripture says “For nothing will be impossible with God.” I know anything is possible so we will continue to trust in God and that our faith in him will keep me uplifted.

Thank you thank you so much ABBA fund for helping to make this a smooth and less stressful process.

Will you, your friends, and family help be a part of this 11 year old and his family’s wish by donating financially to help with the adoption???

Thank You and may God bless each and everyone of you.

Allie, Brandon, Jacen, Amari, Chase

**AN IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION FROM ABBA FUND ABOUT YOUR DONATION**
Using the online form on this page automatically submits a request to preference your gift to the family profiled on this page as part of ABBA Fund’s Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund. ABBA Fund administers this fund and maintains full control and administration of all donated funds. We also strive to honor our donor’s preference requests in accordance with IRS and Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) guidelines.

The IRS allows donors to state a preference of how their contribution is used and request that the gift support a particular family — and it allows the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) to fully consider that request as long as the donor understands and acknowledges for charitably given tax-deductible gifts that the ultimate authority regarding the disposition of your gift is at the discretion of the charitable organization. By using this online form, or other method described above, you are acknowledging an understanding of those IRS guidelines.
