Adoption was planted in my (Halye’s) heart at the young age of 12, during a youth conference. God spoke the words “you will adopt”.
Years later Jon and I met and I learned he was adopted from Brazil! Later we got married and had two precious, beautiful children, Elle and Camden. I stayed home to raise our children in a loving and Christ centered home while Jon worked long hours as a k9 police officer.
God called him to protect elementary schools and he went to days as a protection specialist in our area. One night God woke us both up and told me “NOW!” Which I knew meant to pursue adoption- and called Jon into Ministry- which he immediately obeyed and got his local ministers license and began taking evening online classes.
We knew deeply God’s calling was accurate, his timing was perfect and we both were filled with passion for children and adoption. God has been orchestrating our lives for the exact moment for this exact child, changing our schedules and lives to Enrich our opportunity to do kingdom work in bringing a child into our home to love forever!
We appreciate eternally and pray for every single one of you that even considers being a helping hand in our story!

John 14:18. “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” carved itself deeply in our spirits. We will not leave our child as an orphan! God called us to adopt from Colombia and we couldn’t be more thrilled! We also are reminded of Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you- plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE”
