Chris and I have been married for ten years and since the beginning we knew we wanted to have children. We have been blessed by our biological daughter Charlotte, but have also been heartbroken by several pregnancy losses. As a result of those losses we sought help from our local fertility clinic, which led to a diagnosis of infertility. We never thought infertility would be a part of our plan to grow our family. But God did.
We looked into ways to grow our family, and adoption kept creeping into conversations. We knew friends and families close to us who had adopted, so we had conversations about adoption and what that could look like for our family. We found the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Program with Nightlight Christian Adoptions. We didn’t know embryo adoptions existed prior to finding the program, but we immediately felt that this was for us. We have been matched with a group of six embryos and are preparing for our first embryo transfer.
We ask that your pray for us as we embark on the journey to bring home another baby. Also pray for the family that we adopted the embryos from. We know these embryos were loved before they were created, and that the embryos are children. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to grow our family and care for these children.
