Hi, we are The Jacobs! Brian and I have been married for 15 years. We met and started dating our senior year of high school and were married the week after we graduated college. We are a true high school sweetheart story! After being married for 4 years we welcomed our first son Mark and 4 years later our youngest son Jack arrived. While we thank God for our current family we have felt like our family was missing a piece to our puzzle.
From the beginning of our relationship adoption has always been on our hearts and felt like something we were called to do. We were never sure how or when that would play out but there has always been a constant longing and desire for adoption. Throughout this process we have chosen to trust God in his perfect timing and he has shown us faithfully through our devotions and prayer that the time is now. He has shown us that we may not always know the answers to all the questions but our job is to follow through in faith. We have continually relied on Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that God has plans for us and our family and he will continue to guide our future when we rely fully on Him.
We feel so grateful to be working with the ABBA foundation to support ours and others’ adoption journey. Thank you to those of you that have and will continue to support us each and every day. We humbly ask that you would be in prayer for our family, our birth mother and her family, and our future baby.
