Grandma Chen was a woman who truly loved people. Every person she met she viewed as her brother, sister, son or daughter. She demonstrated love, kindness and generosity to those she encountered. It was evident that she had a living relationship with Jesus which gave her the contagious joy and undeniable strength to endure the many hardships she experienced in life. I am sure she would say that the biggest accomplishment of her life was to be a Mother – to raise her 4 boys and 2 girls and support each child through their every trial and triumph.
She poured into the lives of her children and later her numerous grandchildren. I believe she would be incredibly honored to know that the Grandma Chen fund will help orphans become adopted into a loving family and allow individuals who long to become parents the privilege of nurturing children as she was richly blessed to do.
