Dear family and friends,
As you know, Tim and I felt called to adopt, and we’ve been blessed with two amazing kids through adoption, Eden and Rollins. Originally, our primary motivation was to make a concrete difference for the better in our broken world. We just wanted to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a precious child in need of a loving home.

As often happens, however, what started as a desire to be a blessing to others ended up being an unbelieving blessing to us. Eden and Rollins have brought so much love and joy to Tim and I as well as to our biological daughter, Sage. Not that it’s always been a cake-walk. Truth is, these past years especially have been pretty chaotic and rough at times. But honestly, these challenges have also been an incredible blessing. We have all learned and grown from our experiences together, and we are stronger and more closely knit together because of them.

After our second adoption, we thought that was it. We are blessed with these three wonderful children, and that is more than enough for any couple to raise, right? You’d think, but nope. This past fall God began to once again place in our hearts a desire to provide for another precious child in need of a loving home. And now, months of prayer and discussion, Tim and I are convinced that this is exactly what God is calling us to do. We are all super excited!

Many of you joined us in prayer and partnered with us financially as we went through the emotionally and financially challenging process of adopting Rollins and Eden. We are forever grateful for you! But whether
or not you were part of our previous adoptions, we would like to ask you to partner with us on this one.

Now to the best part… last week we found out we had just been chosen by a birth mother, Angel! Angel is due with a baby girl in mid August! EEEKKKKKK! Angel is just so sweet and kind and we are enjoying getting to know her.

Would you join us in praying for Angel’s physical and emotional well being as well as the health for our baby girl? Also for our family. As many of you know, we had 2 “failed matches” before we adopted Eden, where after the baby was born the birth mom changed her mind on her adoption plan. That’s always a deep fear of ours, especially with 3 excited kids this time round. So prayers that Angel would remain solid in her adoption plan if that’s what’s best for this baby, and if not, that we would know sooner than later.

Lastly, adoption prices have skyrocketed since we last went through the process 7 years ago with Rollins. We are looking at approximately $75,000 to bring this baby girl home. If you feel so led to help us bring
her home financially, we would be forever grateful! You can contribute to our adoption fund and your donation would be tax deductible through the Abba Fund. Click on the “Donate Now” button and put our names in the “honor of” section.

Thank you,
Tim and Alisha Gilbert
