Name: Echols Family FundGender: female

I have always wanted to be a mother. However, God has not sent the husband he has for me and after a significant health battle I am physically incapable of conceiving. It took some time for me to come to grips with the enormous gap between the strong desire or what I call God-given dreams I have, and the direction in which God has taken my life. I believe the plans God have for me might differ from the plans I have for myself but they are good, and will give me the future I hoped for. I think adoption is God’s way of aligning the lives of those who long to be a parent but various life circumstances prevent them from doing so, with those who love their child unselfishly and want them to be raised by someone who can provide the life they cannot.

A combination of therapy and a bible study series my Pastor has been teaching about Faith in Crisis led me to reconnect with a Christian-based adoption consulting company. I originally contacted Faithful Adoption Consulting (FAC) in 2018, but shortly thereafter I was faced with a health crisis and could not begin my adoption journey. When I reconnected with FAC I got the same feeling of love and support for God’s plan for my life as I did in my original contact 2 years prior.

Throughout this journey I have been encouraged by a scripture that God gave to me many years ago and has been relative to so many aspects of my life. Hebrews 10:36 says ‘For you have need of patience, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised’. Psalms 37:23 confirms my feeling that my path and the path of the birth parents are ordered by the Lord. Finally, Proverbs 3:5-6 has encouraged me not only in my adoption journey, but in my acceptance of my infertility, and throughout my health battle. I have learned like never before to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding. To acknowledge Him in all my ways knowing that He will direct my path.

I ask that you prayerfully consider being a part of my family through prayer, encouragement, and by making a generous contribution to alleviate the financial burden of adopting and transforming an orphan into a son raised to be a mighty man of God. My intention is to raise him in the way promised by Hannah in her prayer: to be dedicated back to the Lord all the days of his life.

**AN IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION FROM ABBA FUND ABOUT YOUR DONATION**
Using the online form on this page automatically submits a request to preference your gift to the family profiled on this page as part of ABBA Fund’s Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund. ABBA Fund administers this fund and maintains full control and administration of all donated funds. We also strive to honor our donor’s preference requests in accordance with IRS and Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) guidelines.

The IRS allows donors to state a preference of how their contribution is used and request that the gift support a particular family — and it allows the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) to fully consider that request as long as the donor understands and acknowledges for charitably given tax-deductible gifts that the ultimate authority regarding the disposition of your gift is at the discretion of the charitable organization. By using this online form, or other method described above, you are acknowledging an understanding of those IRS guidelines.
