Name: Claiborne Family Fund

On March 17, 2012, TJ and I stood before God, our family, and friends, and took vows to each other. Even before that moment, we had dreamed about becoming a family with a house full of the sounds of children. By this time, we also knew that infertility would likely be part of our journey. This did not deter us, for we both believed that God had blessings beyond our wildest dreams that would not disappoint.

In 2016, we sat at our kitchen table to pray with our pastors before heading into a major operation that may have forever altered our ability to conceive. At that prayer, the following scripture was spoken over us, “I bow before your holy temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. Psalms 138:2” In that moment, we knew that God would fulfill his promises to grow our family.

In 2018, we received our first foster placement. He is an amazing young man who is still a part of our family today. For a year, we enjoyed the joys of raising boys. Then in 2019, our family grew by two more feet, a whole lot of pink, princesses, and baby dolls. We never knew it could get better!

Through our parenting journey, we prayed that God would weave his Love into our home so that we could have his heart for children and raise them in the way they should go. We consider our children the salt of the earth. They come in and through God, with his perfect vision, of his children, we open a door for God to heal their hearts. It is not easy and we have cried many tears, but we know what is so true today is the Love of Jesus shows us that Love never fails.

Parenting day by day is a complete journey of love. Loving a child because God created them. Loving a child because every child deserves to be loved. We love each and every child that comes through our home with every bit of ourselves. And I can tell you the change we see in their lives is unfathomable. It is by far the most rewarding and most difficult thing we have ever done. God leads, we follow.

Before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Galatians 1:15
We are so excited to say today, that we are getting to adopt the beautiful spunky amazing little girl who joined our family four years ago. Psalms 127:3 says, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”
Please consider joining us in this journey as we walk in obedience to our calling and have the most amazing opportunity to bring this little girl permanently into our family.

(As a side note, our family is much bigger than mentioned above, I could write a book on our amazing children. We are blessed beyond measure.)

Using the online form on this page automatically submits a request to preference your gift to the family profiled on this page as part of ABBA Fund’s Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund. ABBA Fund administers this fund and maintains full control and administration of all donated funds. The IRS allows donors to state a preference of how their contribution is used and request that the gift support a particular family — and it allows the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) to fully consider that request as long as the donor understands and acknowledges for charitably given tax-deductible gifts that the ultimate authority regarding the disposition of your gift is at the discretion of the charitable organization. By using this online form, or other method described above, you are acknowledging an understanding of those IRS guidelines.
