Wow! What a crazy ride David and I have had over the last 14 years. If you are reading this then you may have heard about the crazy miracle love story that God has blessed us with. This love story is filled with a lot of hurt, waiting, loss, tears, and questioning God, but this ending! Spoiler alert!!!! The ending is so so happy!!!! We ARE ADOPTING!!!!!!!!!! We were chosen!!!!!!!
Jan 6th was a day that forever changed our lives!!!!! We are in the middle of moving things into our new home and we get a phone call!!! Congratulations you are going to be a momma and daddy!!! Insert a lot of hysterical crying and David giggling. David and I are still in shock and awe over this fast moving train. We literally got our miracle house and miracle baby in the same day!
This entire process has been big and scary but, oh man when God steps in. When the opportunity was brought to us to be a family, we were scared. But then we were quickly reminded and given a peace that God is a way maker even when there seems to be no options.
Over the last week, we have had an outpouring of love, happiness, and support showered over us! We could not have gone through this without each and every one of you.
Many, many people have reached out to see what they can do and how they can help.
- First, please Pray! Keep the birth momma and baby covered in your prayers along with us.
- Next, Be Patient. If you’re a client or someone reaching out to us, please have extra patience with us in returning texts, calls, and messages. We will get back with you, we promise!!!
- Also, please be involved; we need you, each and every one of you! It takes a village people! We are asking that you all be a “vital” part of our village.
- Finally, please give due to this being a private adoption the cost can be very expensive. We know we serve a faithful God that already knows the need and has the provision lined up well before we knew we would need it. It doesn’t matter the amount given, any amount shows a love and sacrifice from your heart that is so close to God’s heart, adoption.
We are so thankful and excited to see what the future holds and how each and every one of you will be used in our child’s life! Thank you for being a part of this beautiful love story!
