Hello we are the Gilders!
We are a family of three located in Buffalo, MN. April (37), Ryan (36) and Hank (6). Ryan and I knew from the very beginning of our relationship that if we could not have biological children we would adopt, we felt that God’s plan for us to be parents was clear, just unknown on the journey of how to get there. Our son was born in 2018. After that we waited until 2021 to start trying again. Over the next 2 years we had 3 early miscarriages and 1 loss at 21 weeks. Our daughter Grace was born on March 15th 2022. When we found out we were pregnant for the 4 the time since our son, we decided that was it for us trying for biological children, next we would research adoption. After Grace passed it became clear to us that adoption was the road we were meant to take to grow our family.
We are working as hard as we can to get fully funded and trust that the Lord will provide what we need, any help you could offer would be GREATLY appreciated. Grants are very important to our journey as we have not been able to raise all the money on our own. We are currently planning a benefit to hopefully raise a large amount of money, we have been fundraising for 2 years with limited success as we live in such a rural area. Our funding attempts so far have been: babysitting, making wood projects, selling seedlings, selling indoor plants, we started a go fund me, did a tree raffle, making and selling homemade cards, our son has done several lemonade stands because he “wanted to help too” and currently we are selling puzzle pieces to “be a part of our journey”.
