We are Tim and Emily Luzano. We have both always wanted to have children and talked about our future children even before we were ever married. As a child, some of Emily’s first memories were rocking and cradling her baby dolls. A mom is all she has ever really wanted to be. We are both diehard sports fans. Tim always had dreams of dressing his children from head to toe in team gear and taking them to games.
Adoption is something that has always been near and dear to our hearts. Emily always envisioned a family with both biological and adopted children after she witnessed this as a young child and knew even then how beautiful it was. Part of Tim’s story is adoption by his step-dad who is the only father he has ever known.
When we faced the diagnosis of infertility after two years of trying to conceive, we knew God was calling us to adoption. As Christians, we believe that because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross we are adopted into the family of God (Ephesians 1:5). In Genesis it says that as human beings we are created in the image of God. We are called to love all human beings because God loves all of us. We hope to reflect the family of God through adoption.
We are working with the Gladney Center for Adoption here in Texas. We are in the Domestic Infant Program. We are both excited and anxious to grow our family through adoption. As you may know, adoption carries a heavy financial burden with it that we cannot face on our own. We have watched God show up in ways bigger than we ever dreamed or imagined (Ephesians 3:20) throughout our whole adoption journey up to this point and we know that since He is calling us to adopt, He will be faithful in bringing us to our child. We would be incredibly grateful if you would consider joining us in prayer, financially, or with kind words of encouragement as we continue to follow Jesus on our adoption journey to bring a child into our family.
In Christ,
Tim and Emily Luzano

**AN IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION FROM ABBA FUND ABOUT YOUR DONATION**
Using the online form on this page automatically submits a request to preference your gift to the family profiled on this page as part of ABBA Fund’s Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund. ABBA Fund administers this fund and maintains full control and administration of all donated funds. We also strive to honor our donor’s preference requests in accordance with IRS and Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) guidelines.
The IRS allows donors to state a preference of how their contribution is used and request that the gift support a particular family — and it allows the charitable organization (ABBA Fund) to fully consider that request as long as the donor understands and acknowledges for charitably given tax-deductible gifts that the ultimate authority regarding the disposition of your gift is at the discretion of the charitable organization. By using this online form, or other method described above, you are acknowledging an understanding of those IRS guidelines.
