We are a family of two (plus Dora, our dog) who are pursuing adoption to grow our family! Kyle and I have been married for almost five years. He is a youth pastor and we have been ministering to youth for over 10 years. We never would have dreamed that we would struggle to have children, but who ever does? In the midst of our struggle to start our own family, God constantly surrounded us with children that we were able to love. God used us loving them to bring much needed healing to our hearts as we waited.
We were knee deep in fertility treatments when we heard God speak to us loud and clear about adoption. IMMEDIATE joy, excitement, expectancy, and unexplainable peace welled up in our hearts and we just knew that God was leading us in this special direction. We have been praying for this child for so many years. We already feel our hearts knit to them even though we don’t know them yet because they’ve been birthed in our hearts.
Every day our anticipation grows more and more. We simply cannot WAIT for the day we get to meet the baby God has for us! Although there is pain in the waiting, there has been so much beauty. God has been here with us every step of the way. He’s heard every prayer and He’s heard every cry and we are thankful for that.
We are asking our loved ones to please prayerfully consider joining us in prayer, encouragement, and by making a financial contribution of any kind to help alleviate the financial burden of adoption. We truly believe that no gift is too small. Every single contribution will get us one step closer to bringing our baby home!
